NEW YORK -- In his 22nd consecutive semifinal Roger Federer won 7-6, 7-5, 7-5 over Novak Djokovic that has put him one victory away from winning his sixth U.S. Open Tennis Championship title.
But the most talked-about moment of the game was called “The Shot of the Year,” when Federer hit backward between his legs to set up match point.
Federer will now play Juan Martin del Toro, No. 6 on the World ranking and who beat Rafael Nadal early in the day.
