Homer’s lady, Marge Simpson, will be every man’s girl on October 16 when Playboy magazine releases its latest edition with Marge as its cover girl.
Marge, Homer Simpson’s wife in the cartoon series “The Simpson,” will also be featured in an inside story titled “The Devil in Marge Simpson.” Playboy says there will also be an interview and pictures, including a centerfold pullout.
It’s the first time a cartoon character has become the cover of the magazine, famously known for having portrayed from Marilyn Monroe to Cindy Crawford, even Jerry Seinfeld did it once.
Playboy’s new CEO, Scott Flanders, says the idea is to attract a younger audience, specially those in their 20s, since the magazine’s average reader is 35-years-old.
